Looking for Work

Wow, this past week has been like a tornado! So many people doing the same thing I am doing. Looking for a better job for security reasons. I decided to return to State Government, it is my security blanket and I want it back for now, and so does everyone else. I will have to hit the pavement even harder than a lot of my fellow job seekers. They are just coming out of a 4 year college which gives them a greater edge on me. So, I will have to sell myself, as a self taught, intelligent individual who is just as worthy as the 22 year old who has the degree I lack.
Looks like a dog eat dog society out in the work force today. I am not a quit er, so I will due my best and let the chips fall as the may. I believe we end up where we need to be even if it is for just a short period of time. That is how life lessons are created. Each step will take each and everyone of us on a journey we never expected, just go with it. Like the recent flood waters within blocks from my home, I will find away to look past the unpredictable and swim if I must to the next chapter in my life.....

2009, A good year ahead....

Yes, I admit, I neglected my blog... I just wasn't in the right space of mind at the time I started.
I find my self ground once again and ready to march forward in 2009. I have so much I want to do, just not sure where to start? So, I am writing down what I would like to accomplish in the next 6 months . First on the list is looking for a fulltime job. I want a job where I am not tied down to a desk. I want to utilize my photo skills along with my great customer service skills. I enjoy working with the public. Meeting new people always keeps life interesting.
I would like to reconnect with relatives that I have not seen since my teen years. That would be most of them. I have reconnected with my East-Coast cousins last July which I included my children (grown) on this wonderful experience. I love to travel so that is also on my list to do. I am hoping to travel to Arkansas late September and be reunited with a bestfriend I grew-up with. We do talk via phone and emails, however would be great to spend sometime together. Missy shared her family with me and I will always be grateful for that. I learned so much about life from the Woodward family, love them all.
Until next time that's about it... Kim

Life is like connecting the dots...........

We all begin life as a dot. We join many dots upon entering life's journey. Each dot is different from the rest. Our size, color, all depends on another dot. Dot, dot, dot. Like the roll of the dice we are here?
That's just the beginning of seeking the purpose of life.
